Hello, from coach Tami Charvet!

Charvet Grateful Body was created to empower widowed women in rediscovering strength and embracing a renewed, vibrant life.

So what do we do around here?

Coach Tami

I find peace near the water and have always made health and fitness a central part of my life. Rooting for the underdog and believing in others comes naturally to me. Being a nurturer has always been who I am, and supporting clients has brought me so much joy over the years.

But my journey hasn’t always been simple. On the outside, I appeared healthy and happy, but like many, I’ve faced struggles. In 2023, I lost my husband, which changed everything. The grief of losing a spouse is something only those who have experienced it can truly understand.

That’s why I created Widowed Woman Rising. I want widowed women to know they’re not alone, and I’m here to support them as they move forward. Together, we’ll honor our loved ones while finding joy and purpose again through the six pillars of health: nourishment, movement, rest, mindset, breath work, and self-care.

Life’s twists often lead us to places we never imagined. Losing my husband, Dana, left me completely unmoored, navigating a grief no one can fully prepare you for. While loved ones cared, the depth of my loss felt isolating.

Over time, I came to see that moving forward didn’t mean letting go of Dana. It meant carrying his love with me and honoring his memory while rediscovering who I am in this new chapter. I found a strength I hadn’t known, and it’s that strength I now share with other widowed women.

Widowed Woman Rising was born from this journey—a supportive space for women who’ve faced the unimaginable to heal, connect, and rediscover joy. My goal is to guide you in honoring the love you hold while stepping into a life of hope and possibility. Together, we rise.

Navigating Loss

After losing my husband, I realized that recreating my life wasn’t about starting over—it was about rediscovering who I was and embracing the changes that loss had brought. Grief shook my foundation, and while it took time, I knew I needed to rebuild with intention and purpose.

Healing, I found, begins with the smallest steps: learning to care for yourself again, allowing joy back in, and finding a balance between honoring your past and creating a future you can thrive in. This isn’t about “moving on”; it’s about moving forward—embracing the love within you while becoming a new, resilient version of yourself, one filled with hope.

Through Widowed Woman Rising, I help guide women along this journey. Together, we’ll rebuild with nourishment, movement, rest, mindset, breath work, and self-care. The goal isn’t to forget but to honor your journey and your loved one while creating a life of joy, peace, and purpose.

Recreating You

Dana was more than my husband—he was my best friend, my partner in everything, and one of the greatest teachers in my life. His strength, wisdom, and love shaped me in ways I could never fully express. Together, we shared dreams, laughter, and challenges, building a life that was rich in love and purpose. He taught me the value of resilience, the importance of health, and how to truly be present in each moment.

When I lost him, the world seemed to shift beneath me. His passing didn’t just break my heart—it shattered it, leaving a hole like no other. Grief has a way of changing everything, but in the wake of that loss, I found clarity in my purpose. Dana’s passing not only shattered me, but it also awakened a mission within me—to support other widowed women who feel the same profound loss.

I carry Dana’s spirit with me every day, and through Widowed Woman Rising, I honor him by helping others navigate their own journey of healing. His love and guidance still influence the work I do, as I help women move forward, rediscover joy, and embrace a new chapter—while always carrying the love of those they’ve lost.
